The Stupid Pony Lehi to Wendover Bicycle Race on October 8
We’ve been asked to provide radio communications for this bicycle race which will follow the old Pony Express trail from Lehi to Wendover. We’ll need radio operators at the start line, at Simpson Springs, Fish Springs, Gold Hill, and the finish line at the Wendover Airport. There will be between thirty and forty racers.

Start line in Lehi: one operator with a radio to get the list of racers who did not start. Will need to be at the start line at 6am and will be finished by 7am.

Simpson Springs: At least one and preferably two operators with a radio from 9am to noon.

Fish Springs: At least one and preferably two operators with a radio from 11:30 to 5pm.

Gold Hill: At least one and preferably two operators with a radio from 2:30pm to midnight

Finish Line at the Wendover Airport: Need operators from about 9am until midnight. I’d like to set up three shifts of 5-hours with at least one operator on each shift.

If you are interested in being involved in this support activity, please contact Roland Smith at 435-849-1946 or rolandksmith@gmail.com
